Father's Day Gift Guide
Long time no post, Peaches! This is my first post of 2016, and its JUNE!! I apologise profusely for slacking on the blog front lately but school and the Leaving Cert got the better of me and I was so disappointed that I couldn't blog as much as I would have liked to. Exams are coming to an end (praise Jesus!) and I couldn't be happier. I cannot wait to see the back of them and finally enjoy my fun-packed summer. I said goodbye to school forever two weeks ago. It's actually quite surreal and I just hope I'm not saying adiós to the greatest years of my life (post to come very soon on that subject). But for now I'm going to get to what this post is all about.
Father's Day is just around the corner, Sunday 19th of June to be precise, and I just feel we all need a hand or two when choosing a gift for the picky men in our lives. Everyday is a great day to celebrate our wonderful dads but it's so lovely to have a whole day in the year just for them. I've compiled a list of a few bits and bobs that every dad needs and loves and hopefully there is something for everyone.
Belts
This is one gift you cannot go wrong with. Every dad needs a belt to hold those britches up and you can never have enough.

Socks
Another timeless classic for a gift. Who doesn't love a woolly sock to keep them warm and fuzzy (especially if you live in Ireland!) and they are the perfect last minute pick up if you are running out of time.
Watches
Most dads don't actually own their own watch and it is pretty much left to the legendary women in their lives to buy them so why not treat your deserving dad to fancy wrist candy this fathers day.
Ties
The final flourish to every formal ensemble lies with the carefully chosen ties and accessories. A man can never have enough ties to brighten up any ensemble and with the wide variety out there from comedic to formal, there is so many to choose from.
Newspaper Spoof
Doesn't everyone love a good ole write-up about themselves in the local newspaper! Why not make dad a celebrity for the day and give him his very own press release. This personalised spoof newspaper cover is presented in either a tube roll or a contemporary black ash frame. The colourful cover comes in A3 size. And for just €16.95, you can purchase one here. A perfect little pick-me-up.
Mugs
If your dad is a tea-aholic just like mine then a mahoosive mug is the perfect gift this Father's Day. He can enjoy a cup of tea without having to go back for a refill. It's a win-win, right?!
Pint Glass
If your dad is more of a pub-type why not bring the pub to the home. He can put his feet up whilst watching the footie with pint in hand or have a meet and greet with his mates from the comfort of his own gaff. You can purchase this very glass here or choose from a variety of others.
I hope you all have the best and most special day with your dads, and show him a lot of love this Father's Day. Happy Father's Day dads, you're amazing!
How will you be celebrating Father's Day with your dad this year? Let me know in the comments below.
